Woodside Morris Men: Traditional Village Tour

This article, by Dave Dunham, documents the  tour of traditional morris villages undertaken by Woodside Morris Men as part of our 50th anniversary celebrations..

Starting at Badby, near Daventry, we progressed through Brackley and Hinton-in-the-Hedges before leaving Northamptonshire for Oxfordshire. Here we visited Adderbury and Bucknell before crossing into Bucks to end the day with our version of a dance from Steeple Claydon.

An excellent day, and pretty good weather given the June downpours we’ve had. It only really rained twice and we were on the road both times.
